ABOUT KATIE.

Katie Lees is a contemporary fine jeweller whose work focuses on the craft and creation of heirloom pieces for the modern era.

Katie’s unorthodox, lavish style is cultivated from her extensive skills in traditional jewellery making. She pairs this with a fresh, modern take on Glasgow’s industrial architecture. Katie’s use of ancient techniques like pavé and micro claw settings are combined with the natural aesthetic of alternative precious stones and diamonds. Her work is elegant, tactile, and designed to exude opulence. Each piece is carefully hand-finished, plated, and hallmarked in Scotland.

Glasgow born, Katie studied at the prestigious Jewellery and Silversmithing department of the Glasgow School of Art. After graduating in 2009 she took up a residency at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee. Years on, Katie’s careful attention to detail, striking aesthetic and luxurious bespoke design has allowed her to flourish and work with clients worldwide.
